The Western Sleep Co. — part of The Ideal Evening

The Ideal Evening / Sleep

The Western Sleep Co.

Guided rest for the long night.

There comes a point in some evenings when you are no longer looking for something to read, something to do or somewhere else for your mind to go.

You are tired. You would like to sleep. It just is not happening yet.

The Western Sleep Co. is the sleep collection inside The Ideal Evening, made for that part of the night.

“I don’t try to fix your sleep, I just want to help you through it.”

Choose what feels right tonight

Four places to land.

There is nothing here to complete, master or do properly. You can listen all the way through, drift off halfway, come back tomorrow, or decide after ten minutes that tonight is not the night for it.

You do not have to make sleep happen.

Trying very hard to sleep is a particularly unhelpful way to spend the middle of the night. These audios are not built around the idea that if you follow every instruction correctly, sleep will appear on schedule.

They are simply there to make being awake feel a little less lonely, frustrating or endless. If sleep comes, lovely. If it takes a while, you still have somewhere to rest.

How to use the audios

Get comfortable in whatever way actually works for you. Use headphones if you like them. Use a speaker if you do not. Turn the volume down until the voice feels like part of the room rather than something you need to concentrate on.

You do not need to listen closely and you certainly do not need to remember any of it tomorrow. Let it run. That is enough.

Not ready for this bit yet?

Sleep can wait.

You do not need to come here just because it is evening. If you are still wide awake, go back to something to read, find something small to do, or put something on in the background.
